I love having access to a small airport. Checking a bag shouldn't take 40 minutes for such a small airport though... I dont want to see it get bigger, but it is definitely too small for all the people. Very crowded at the gates. I hope they keep it low key and low frills with the expansion. Drop off and pick up is so easy - love it. I appreciate the "cell phone" lot for waiting for a plane's arrival for picking up someone. TSA runs smoothly. Bathrooms are good. Drinking fountain after TSA and water doesn't taste bad. Cafe is good. Small gift shop if interested. Clean and pretty airport.

Today was a rough day for Cherry Capital Airport. Multiple delays that then turned to cancelations all because of the weather. That happens all the time here in Michigan. However, I was about to miss my best friends wedding in Norway that has been planned for a year. I explained my situation to the check-in desk and they did something I couldn't believe. They somehow got me a flight to my destination. Re-routing me all over the country, at times that seemed impossible, but I just need to get there. They did that. Well before I needed to be there. This review is a thank you to Trenton and your "hero". ( im sorry I only got one of the names.)
